What is Site Search Engine?
FrontLook Site Search Engine is especially for the FrontPage users to setup Site Search pages and forms for their web site. - Search your web site for matches without configuring the Index server or requiring FrontPage Extensions.
- Support for Microsoft ASP and PHP4+ enabled servers running IIS 4 or greater or Linux/Unix servers running PHP 4 or greater.
- Provides a summary of matches sorted by relevance or page title.
- Summary page can be formatted to match the look a feel of your web site using external or embedded style sheets.
- Enables the setup of search areas to aid the user in finding information on your site.
Each search area can have any pages included in the search. - Meta-tag keywords are optionally included in the search criteria to aid your user's search when they use similar terms.
- Optionally FrontPage shared borders, page includes, navigation bars, DWT editable/non-editable regions and selected info can be excluded from the search.
- Both Boolean and Exact Matches are supported by the search engine.

The FrontLook Site Search engine consists of four software components: - The Search Areas Editor add-in dialog sets up search areas and which pages should be searched in each search area.
- The Insert Search Page add-in dialog is used to insert one or more search pages on your personal web site.
- The Insert Quick Search Form add-in dialog is used to insert a compact search form on any page taking the user to the search page to view their results.
- The Search Page that runs on your server and performs the search of your web using an exact match or Boolean search algorithms.
