ColliganWebStore Affiliate Update 3/29/2004 Paul Colligan here. I hope all is well.
I wanted to, first, remind you that the “old” affiliate system under AssocTrac dies on Thursday and that everyone needs to have moved over to our new system before then. Starting 4/1, all affiliates links that point to Colligan.com through a http://www.colligan.com/cgi-bin/at.pl link will a) send them to the home page of ColliganWebStore.com (not the page you were trying to send them to and b) will result in no credit for the affiliate. There can be no exceptions to this.
It looks like most of you have already done that but I wanted to send out this one last reminder.
You can sign up for the new system at http://www.colliganwebstore.com/affiliates/
Now, a couple of additional issues that should be of interest to you:
1. There has been a little confusion about those wishing to be affiliates for FrontPageCart or AutomateSales.com. You are welcome (and encouraged) to be affiliates for them but need to sign up for these programs, individually, at:
FrontPage Cart - http://www.frontpagecart.com/resellers.asp
AutomateSales.com - http://www.automatesales.com/resellers.asp
These programs are run independently of the ColliganWebStore.com affiliate program.
2. If you missed our first Affiliate Office Hours, you missed something pretty special. Among other things, affiliate marketing guru James Martell showed up to say a few words and several other affiliates offered their expertise to help some “newbie” affiliates figure out there “angle” in all of this. It was a great time. The next AOH (Affiliate Office Hours) take place tomorrow (3/30/2004) at 1p, PST. Login information will be available at http://www.colliganwebstore.com/affiliates/ at that time. Please join us!
3. What happens after the “old” system dies? 2 things: a) we introduce several new products this month (Animator Pro and Power Edit Version 2 just to name a few and b) we add some new functionality to our system (don’t worry, you won’t have to change a thing) that will result in better sales for you, the affiliates.
A little later in the month, look for an email from me that will result in a way for you to get your readers tagged with your affiliate ID by offering them a chance to win great FrontPage prizes. How cool is that?
